The Bar-S logo originated from a plant in Seattle, Washington, which became Seattle Packing Company in 1950. The ‘S’ in Bar-S stood for Seattle. The Bar-S brand was the surviving successor of the Cudahy Company with Tim Day at the helm as President and CEO.
